Those of you using the GTX 980 Ti 6GB in their Mac Pro computers, did you buy a flashed version or using the flashing service of two guys in a hollywood apartment to get your board flashed? Is it working out for you? Any weird EFI text on boot up?
Wondering if all this EFI flashing was necessary and curious for those that did not flash if they just get dark screens and no 'OPTION' boot option.
Love to share some info about this card. It's the fastest graphics card we can put in a Mac Pro, I believe. I believe we don't get the full speed out of the card running OS X even. Would be interesting to share some benchmarks with the various legacy Mac Pros out there.
Mine runs pretty hot too. I need to keep the GTX 680 as a backup whenever I have to reinstall OS X too.
Open to any ideas, sharing information or tests we may run for the inspired.
